The Gold Foundation provides financial support to programs and projects which encourage more compassionate and relationship-centered healthcare. In order to become complete doctors, physicians must be able to understand the human condition. The Gold Foundation partners with medical schools and teaching hospitals to infuse humanism into medical training from the first day of medical school to the last day of residency. We believe that scientific knowledge and technology are critical to medicine, but do not represent the full scope of competencies necessary for effective doctoring.
