The state of Nevada has offered a rebate on energy costs to schools, public, and other property, including nonprofits and churches that install solar, wind, or small hydroelectric energy generation systems. Rebates are based on the size of the system installed and method of generation. Rates for nonprofits are $4.20 per watt for solar, $3.00 per watt for wind, up to $126,000 maximum. The rebate is also open to small business and residential, at lower rates.
