Product Production Public-Private Partnerships

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) issued by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), seeks research project grant (R01) applications from established, not-for-profit Product Production Public-Private Partnerships (PD PPPs) in order to accelerate preclinical research and development of promising preventive, therapeutic, or diagnostic tools, or vector management strategies for neglected infectious diseases. PD PPPs should have a track record of development of interventions for neglected infectious diseases of global importance, and highest prevalence in low income countries for which commercial markets provide insufficient incentives for product development.
